Jennifer Huard, President
Jen Huard has worked for Work Opportunities since June 2006. Her current role is Director of Vocational Services; previously she worked in direct support roles and in program management. Jen earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University Of Washington and is currently the WA APSE Board President. She volunteers as a coach for Special Olympics, she enjoys going to Mariners games, and spending time outdoors. Jen believes that every human being should be included in our communities and that everyone can work!
Charly Sullivan, Vice President
Charly Sullivan is a Senior Training and Technical Assistance Manager at Wise with over 15 years of experience in Supported Employment. She partners with Washington stakeholders to build inclusive practices and leads capacity-building projects that support equitable employment for people with disabilities. Charly is a key member of HireAbility Spokane and the Wise Online Academy training team, specializing in employer engagement and inclusive recruitment.
A SHRM-CP certified professional with a degree from the University of Washington, Charly has collaborated with the City of Spokane on employment systems and statewide initiatives. She is deeply committed to community inclusion, serving as Vice President of the WA APSE board and working with local Spokane organizations like the Evergreen Club and Camp Fire.
Brooke Murray, Treasurer
With a lifelong passion for helping others, Brooke spent her school years volunteering in special education classrooms, advocating for inclusivity. Brooke later managed retail stores, fostering successful teams and employing individuals from Ability’s client base who demonstrated remarkable work ethic. Seeking a more personal impact, she was drawn to Ability Employment Services, where she brings her dedication to making a difference.
Amy Schneider, Secretary
Amy is a transplant to the Pacific Northwest. She moved to Vancouver in July of 2015, after graduating from Bemidji State University in Northern Minnesota with a B.A. in Community Health and a minor in Psychology and Human Performance: Fitness and Training. While in college, Amy did an internship with Hope House, a day center for adults with mental illness, working one-on-one with clients to live a healthier lifestyle. She would meet them at the gym, show them exercises to do at home, and the importance of good nutrition. Amy also coached basketball for the Special Olympics for three years. Working with individuals with disabilities of any kind is a passion of Amy’s. She was introduced to Supported Employment here in Vancouver with another company, and fortunately was introduced to Trillium and accepted a position as an Employment Consultant.
Amy loves the warm weather and mild winters of the Pacific Northwest compared to Northern Minnesota. She enjoys being around family again and going to car shows on the weekends. Amy does some hiking but is looking forward to exploring more. Amy holds the Professional Employment Certificate.
Amy Fiddes
My name is Amy Fiddes, I am passionate about individuals growth. I love to see people achieve their goals, through learning, growing and teaching. I have served ENSO for 10 years and the privilege of working as the Program Manager of Training and Hiring. In this position I meet lots of people from participants to staff members working with them to put tools into action to achieve their goals. Through ENSO I provide multiple trainings a week to all staff in the four counties, and assist with implementing training into practical application. My life experiences have been in coaching people for over 20 years as well as training, recruiting and deployment of great people in great success. While not working I am usually with my dogs doing many different fun things and of most all adventuring.

Carmen Hagenbarth
Carmen is an active member of the APSE Board and our only employer! Professionally, she is a Talent Acquisition Specialist at STCU.
Carmen has seen firsthand how people with disabilities can thrive in roles they love and are proud of. She’s especially driven to APSE's mission of Employment for All by her hope that her grandson, who is on the autism spectrum, will grow up to find a job that makes him happy and proud of what he's doing. She says "Everyone deserves that chance!"
Carmen loves horseback riding and occasionally enjoys a unique snack—dill pickle and peanut butter sandwiches!
Daniel is member of the APSE Board. Professionally, he is the Director of Mission Services at AtWork!; an employment services provider that empowers people with disabilities to be involved, contributing, and thriving members of their communities. Daniel believes that "Employment for all" is not just about creating jobs; it's about ensuring everyone has access to opportunities that contribute to a balanced, fair, and successful society.
Fun Fact: When he's not advocating for inclusive employment, Daniel loves being an outdoor adventure guide for his tiny human!

Gillian Maguire
Gillian is the program manager of the Microsoft Global Workplace Services Supported Employment Program. The mission of the program is partner with Microsoft suppliers and local job coaching agencies to create real job opportunities for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities at Microsoft locations around the world.
Gillian joined CBRE in 2017, bringing experience in management at a statewide disability rights organization. She created and managed a team responsible for provision of high quality information and advocacy services to people with disabilities in Washington.

John Lemus
John Lemus has worked in the I/DD community for 16 years as a policy and systems change advocate. John currently works for AtWork! As an activist/advocate in Spokane WA. John Is also a 2020 UW LEND Trainee and works for the UW Center on Human Development and Disability under their Autism ECHO project. John also serves as the 2nd District Commissioner/Vice Chair of the City of Spokane Human rights Commission. In 2014, John was awarded the National Tom Miller award for Advocacy by SourceAmerica. John also serves as the Current president of People First of Lilac City and was the 1st youngest state board president for people first of Washington in the organization’s history.
Julia Smith
Julia has been a dedicated member of the APSE Board since 2020 and has even served as our Board Secretary! Professionally, she is the Whatcom County Program Manager for Work Opportunities in Bellingham, WA. Julia believes that anyone who wants to work should be able to! She says there’s a job out there for everyone and that working can be such a valuable piece to a full and happy life. When she's not working, Julia is usually busy chasing after her two boys. You can often find them exploring the beautiful outdoors in this part of our state!
Lisa Latchford
Lisa Latchford is a dedicated Employment Consultant, Trainer and Facilitator, known for her unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. With a foundation built on person-centered planning, she is passionate about guiding individuals towards not just finding a job, but creating a pathway to the life they want to live. Lisa has over 3 decades of equipping individuals and teams to increase performance, ensure best practices, build stronger teams and achieve their employment goals. She is currently the President of Fox Associates and Instructor for the WISE Online Academy 200, Washington APSE Chapter board member and past Chair of the Community Employment Alliance Board for Washington state. As a private consultant, she provides training and consultation at the local, state, and national level. She is a visionary leader with experience in marketing, public speaking, leadership, management, strategic planning, training and facilitation. In her free time Lisa loves to sing jazz.
Marcos Morales
Marcos has strong roots in the Spokane area where he has lived for over 30 years. He and his wife are raising two boys and find their greatest family connections through their love for the outdoors and camping. He has always had a strong passion to serve his community. He dedicates much of his time outside of work volunteering through service to organizations that need more help. He has a background in real estate where he has helped others find a place to call home and raise families in Spokane as well. He comes to Ability to continue his commitment to helping others and is excited to help them find their full potential and the confidence to succeed.
Michael Rogers
Michael Rogers is the Receptionist for DDA Headquarters and Host for the Seattle Mariners. Michael has received services and has been employed by DDCS for over 29 years. Michael is also a national presenter, trainer and does consulting with MJR Consulting and Fox Associates Consultation LLC. Michael has served on the Washington DDC Board, ARC of Washington Board, the President's Committee for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and current Board Member for WA APSE. My goal is to empower every individual that I come across. Life does not always make it easy to find your way, especially if a disability means others are making decisions for you. The bar will be set too low, but my life story is a testament to throwing off those limitations and living the life of your dreams. I have cerebral palsy and my life was severely limited by a world not able to visualize my potential. I had to persist. It takes work, the right people and the right accommodations. Michael lives in Lacy, Washington with his wife Emily and dog Ryleigh.
Nicole Sanseri has served as a General Board Member for the Washington State APSE Board since 2025. She is a Manager of Employment Services at AtWork! and has spent the past seven years empowering people with disabilities to become active, contributing, and thriving members of their communities.
Her passion for this work began long before her professional career. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the impact of employment supports and in-home services through family members, inspiring her lifelong commitment to advancing inclusion, opportunity, and meaningful employment for people with disabilities.
